The holiday package of 5 days comprises of sightseeing at Bodh Gaya and Rajgir, and also a short trip to Nalanda. On arrival at Gaya Junction or Gaya International Airport in Bihar, the hotel representative will pick you up from the railway station or airport and drop you at the pre-booked hotel. The encapsulation of the itinerary would be sightseeing at Bodh Gaya on the first day, a trip to Nalanda on the second day, Rajgir sightseeing on the third and fourth day, and the trip ends on the 5th day. The representative will drop you at the railway station or the airport on the day of departure.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival at Bodh Gaya
Arrive at Gaya and transfer to a hotel at Bodh Gaya. After check-in and post-lunch, head out from the hotel for sightseeing at Bodh Gaya. The first visit would be to the Mahabodhi Temple and the Bodhi Tree. Then, visit the Muchalinda Sarovar, Thai Monastery and the Great Buddha Statue. Return to the hotel, have dinner and get proper rest.
Day 2
Bodh Gaya to Nalanda
After breakfast at the hotel move out for a full-day sightseeing excursion at Nalanda. The first halt will be at the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University. Next visit the Hiuen Tsang Memorial Hall and Nalanda Archeological Museum. if time permits also visit the Surya Mandir before coming back to Bodh Gaya. Return to the hotel in the evening and get rest.
Day 3
Bodh Gaya to Rajgir and sightseeing
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and transfer to Rajgir. Check in to a hotel and relax for some time. Proceed with visiting some of the tourist spots at Rajgir. At first, visit the Vishwa Shanti Stupa. Then trek to Griddhakuta Peak, also known as Vulture’s Peak. Retreat to the hotel and relax.
Day 4
Rajgir Local sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel proceeds for full day Rajgir sightseeing tour to Veerayatan Jain Museum, Bimbisar’s Jail, Venu Van, Rajgir Ropeway, Ajatshatru Fort, Swarn Bhandar and Ghora Katora Lake. Return to the hotel in the evening, and later have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5
Departure from Rajgir
After breakfast check out from the hotel. The representative will drop you off at Rajgir Railway Station or Gaya International Airport according to the scheduled departure.
